David Muir was born in America and is an American journalist. His ABC News show World News Tonight, with David Muir has been a success for many years. Additionally the show, he is also a co-anchor of ABC News magazine 20/20. With its animated gestures and funny videos of celebrities' chatter, his program has become America's most-watched newscast. Made In America, his Emmy nominated show, is one of his other accomplishments. Before joining ABC World News Tonight, it was his primary reporter for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. In recent years, he has covered many ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. He has travelled around across the globe covering stories from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. His awards include multiple Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as awards from The Associated Press.
