Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 was an American Actress. Her film debut was during 1983's Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack group of actors. She was also on the screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received the Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy was born in America and she is both an actress and an author. Her movie career started in early 1980s when she starred as a crime drama actress, Bad Boys. The film, which was helmed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. After her debut film, she appeared in 1985's comedy and drama The Breakfast Club. John Hughes directed one of the most memorable films made for high school students. Despite a budget of only one million dollars, the film's profits exceeded $50 million. Also, she began to appear on a number of television shows like CBS Schoolbreak. This was her debut on television. This show aimed at teenagers and began airing in April 1980. The actress also appeared in other TV series such as Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances by Sheedy include Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie that tells the story of a hero, in which she appears in a cameo. Sheedy won numerous awards in 2005 due to her performance. She also was honored an MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
